"Probably the most fascinating and true to life character is Elizabeth McHugh played by Kimberly Greene... Kimberly's performance was tender and heartbreaking. Her poignant monologue as a 12 year old ending her relationship with God is easily the best moment of the play." -Akia Squitieri (Reviewer at TheaterScene.net)
(Re: Working as a teaching artist w/ Circle in the Square co-leading the residency at PS11)
"Kim was my team co-leader and supervisor at Circle in the Square's Arts Education Program with PS11. She is an absolute gem and a pleasure to work with. She was instrumental in training my team of residence assistants how to work with 3rd graders and help them write full-length scripts. She taught us how to work effectively with the children and encourage their creativity. Kim was a very accessible mentor and always answered any questions we had. Her passion for the work shined through everything she did, and the children loved working with her as much as my fellow resident assistants did! Kim would bring in fun warm-ups for the children to do for the first few minutes of class and her infectious, positive energy got the children feeling excited about the work we were about to do. Kim has a very gentle and encouraging way with children that inspires them to do their best work, as well. On many occasions, a child who initially seemed disinterested in writing a play would find their creative voice after working one-on-one with Kim. She showed them what they were capable of, and that is a gift. Kim is also a problem solver- she addressed any issues that came up during the residency promptly and gracefully. I learned a lot about art, teaching, creativity, patience, and life itself from Kim. I highly recommend her as a team leader and Teaching Artist." -Elyssa Ackerman (Residency Assistant, Teaching Artist, Actor, Singer & Writer)

"Kimberly was an excellent teacher and director, who helped a lot in the preparation and production of an original musical of Pinocchio, performed mostly by children, in which I guest-starred as old Gepetto." -Marc Weishaus (Actor, Writer & Teacher)
(Re: My first year at PS11 before I was hired to co-lead the residency)
"Kimberly Greene worked as a teaching artist under my supervision from September 2014 through January 2015. She taught playwriting to third graders at P.S. 11, a Manhattan school with students of various ethnic and socio-economic groups.
Kimberly led class warm ups, worked with small groups and helped kids one-on-one as they wrote their scripts. In all three of these roles she was clear, direct and warm. She also listened and responded to the kids with genuine sensitivity.
Kimberly got along well with the other teachers and support staff, arrived on time and responded to the kids work with helpful questions and encouraging notes. She also asked pertinent questions about the curriculum and made useful suggestions in staff meetings.
Kimberly has a professional acting background, which was evident when she and other teaching artists performed the children’s plays at both P.S. 11 and Circle in the Square’s Broadway Theatre. Her characterizations delighted the kids.
I recommend her without qualification. She is an excellent teacher." -Daniel Judah Sklar (Director of Playmaking, Playwright & Master Teaching Artist)
(Re: My years at ISOMATA)
"Her ability to sing, dance and act in conjunction with her natural beauty and overall poise, give her quite a stage presence. In other words, when onstage, she is indeed a force to reckon with. Do not, however, misunderstand what I am saying ---- Kim is not out for self-glorification. She "gives" the stage with as much ease and grace as she takes it. She is indeed a director's dream." -Donna Marie Cory (Musical Theatre staff at ISOMATA)
"Kim's professional potential is first rate. ... She has good focus and disciplined work habits, and she is always prepared for class or rehearsal. She is flexible, creative and takes direction well. Kim's singing work is extraordinary. She has a strong, true, theatrically exciting voice. She can act a song as well as any student I have known in eighteen years. ... I recommend her enthusiastically for her talent, intelligence, attitude and work habits. ... Kim is supportive of the work of others, much in demand as a scene or study partner, and is emulated by her peers. Her personality is warm and open, she handles adversity increasingly well. She is respected and, indeed, loved by her teachers and peers. ... She has a good sense of who she is and what she wants. She is willing to roll up her sleeves and work. Her talent, mind and personal characteristics are first-rate." -Leslie E. Hinshaw (Chair, Department of Theatre, Arts Academy)

"The magic began when Kim started to sing." -Jerry Annoni (Pops Concert Master of Ceremonies)
